Monthly Goals Review - May

9:33:00 pm

I missed the weekly goals update last weekend, and was about to miss this one too. Then I thought I might as well just put up a monthly update for May.

Like I mentioned before, May was my anniversary and birthday month; and there was also a cousin’s wedding thrown in. So, lots of eating opportunities, but on the whole, I’ve controlled my portions pretty well. I now get full after eating less food than before, so it’s all just a question of being aware of my tummy’s signals :-). I’ve lost another ½ kg this month and it seems to be gone for good! I’ve worked out more or less consistently, though the frequency can still be improved. I’ve increased my workout weights and was pleasantly surprised to find that it didn’t really require much effort!! Looks like my endurance is really picking up!!

Cub and I spent some quality time together, with crafts and stories and stuff. I’ve also been quite good with my reading, though my prayers still have room for improvement.

And my nagging. God, that is really, really tough to get rid of. Do any of you guys have any ideas to stop nagging?? Honestly, sometimes I annoy myself with my nagging.

The house cleaning and blogging schedules have not been followed well. Not a single outfit post in May. Bad, bad Fab. Those are going to be my main areas of improvement in June, along with better time management. I’ve downloaded Evernote and Pomodoro on my phone, and am hoping these tools help me manage my time better!!

How do you guys manage your time and your goals? Do you have any specific tools for the same?

  1. Hmmm ... I try and make a list in the order of the priority and set a time duration for achieving them. 9 out of 10 times it works, the 1 time that it doesn't is coz I am lazy :P

    1. A priority list....sounds like a good idea, that way at least the major tasks get out of the way. And making it work 9 times out of 10, that is very very good!!
