Recipe for the Week – Quick Bread Pizza (Easy Doodle Recipe)

4:17:00 pm

Haven’t there been times when you just crave something so bad, you want to eat it then and there? If it’s chocolate cake you’re craving for, I have a solution right here.

If it’s pizza, fret no more. Just read on for an easy fix :-).

Isn’t the doodle self explanatory? Need more? Okay, here’s a few more details :-).

What you’ll need:

2 slices of bread
Tomato Sauce/Ketchup
Sliced Bell Peppers
Sliced Mushrooms
Little pieces of leftover cooked chicken, sausages, paneer etc.
Grated cheese
Pepper/chilli flakes/oregano/condiments of choice

What you’re going to do:

1. Spread the sauce over the bread slices and top with bell pepper and mushroom slices.

2. Arrange the pieces of chicken/paneer among the existing topping and sprinkle cheese all over.

3. Add spices/condiments to your liking and place on a heated pan/tava.

4. Cover and leave for about 2-3 minutes. The cheese should have melted by then.

Cut into triangles and enjoy!!

This is something I often make for Cub when he starts asking for pizza. Use brown bread, sneak in some sweet corn and olives and you’ve got a healthy, filling, and of course yummilicious snack!!
