So here we are, at the tail end of 2016. A lot has happened this year, but we’re still standing at the end of it, so that’s saying something! It just goes on to show that no matter what happens around us, if we stick to our principles and focus on our goals, we can still succeed. And to help you on this journey of setting and achieving goals in the New Year, a planner works perfectly!

There are many absolutely gorgeous planners out there, and worth every penny! However, if you’re a little short on cash this time of the year and are on the lookout for freebies, you’re probably hesitating to spend on those pretty planners. That’s okay too – a planner’s price isn’t an indication of its effectiveness; how you use it is! So for those of you who’d enjoy some free gifts this season, here are 10 free planners for 2017. Whether your goal is to get fit, control expenses, grow your blog or just stay organized – you’re sure to find something here!

10 Awesome Free Planners for 2017

Love owls? Then you’ll absolutely love this planner from Krafty Owl! It’s a simple, basic planner, but quite practically designed. There are dated monthly spreads and undated weekly spreads with lots of writing space. The monthly sheets also have white space you can doodle in with your colored markers.

This is the planner I used in 2016, and might just use it again for next year! The design is very feminine – pastel colors and lots of white space. The best part is that there are many options to choose from – you can mix and match patterns to make your own customized planner. You can also choose from A4 or A5 sizes. There are quotes, dividers, to-do lists and so much more!

This is another pretty planner, with lots of florals and cursive font. It’s got of useful pages too – month at a glance, monthly sheets, daily planners, contacts, passwords, budgets and more! Think of it and you’ll find it here! They also have a blog planner and calendar printables in the same theme, so you’ll have a matching set!

Shining Mom’s 2017 planner is an awesome combination of three planners in one – life planner, home binder and even a kid binder! It is an absolute winner in terms of the amount of information it includes. There are goal setting pages for the year and month, daily and weekly planning sheets, activity and homework sheets for kids and a full set of home organization sheets that include chores, meal plans and so much more!

If one of your 2017 goals is to grow your blog then this planner is for you! With 34 pages, you can keep track of every tiny bit of information pertaining to your blog. Along with calendar pages for the year, month and week, there are post planning pages, post schedule, trackers for guests posts, expenses, sponsored posts and more. The planner is colorful without going overboard with lots of space for notes.

Here is another blog planner that’s a little more comprehensive, with a whopping 80 pages! From post ideas to stats tracker, from affiliate listing to password keepers, you’ll find here every single thing your blog needs. The pattern and color scheme is kind of Parisienne, with black, pink and gold – I like it!

This planner is a simple, neat one, and gives you lots of scope for personalization. There are weekly and daily formats, a holiday list and month-at-a glance sheets – all available in a vertical and horizontal format, as well as in a number of colors to choose from. If you like to keep things no-fuss
and basic, you’re sure to like this one!

For most of us, financial planning is a little scary, especially for women! But a proper budget planner can help you stay on top of your finances in the New Year, like this planner from Frugal Fanatic. Set financial goals on a monthly and yearly basis, track your bills and make a monthly budget. The planner is effective without being overwhelming. For more financial help, do check my post on financial resources for women.

This planner from Beautyholics Anonymous is, like its name suggests, very girly! It has monthly and weekly planners in a floral theme and in a makeup theme. The weekly planner has space for days, goals, priorities and new ideas; so even if the number of pages is not much, they can pack in a lot of stuff!

This is another pretty planner that is pretty basic, with monthly calendar pages and weekly organizer pages. It’s got some lovely roses printed on the corners, with a beautiful cursive font. Lots of white space around, but it’s so neat, you might want to leave it like that. The site has many more printables too – do check them out!

Have a look at all the planners and pick the one you like the most, based on your needs and your aesthetics. Many of the blogs have other free printable pages, so you can mix and match to create your own custom planner. Do add blank sheets too, so you have some space to jot down anything extra that you’d like.  You can also add some coloring pages too! Most of these work well with a spiral binding format, and don’t forget to use stickers and colored markers to add your own personal stamp! And after you’re done with it, set a schedule to use it! Check it every night before bed or every morning as you drink your cuppa, so you can get a grip of the day before it begins. Spend time with it at the end of every week, every month and every quarter so that you’re always in touch with your goals. Combined with consistent effort, your planner should help you achieve all your goals for 2017. All the best and wish you a very Happy New Year!

Have you got your planner already? If not, which one of these would you choose?
